Focus and Scope

DEDIKASI : Jurnal Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat focuses on evidence-based community service initiatives that promote social transformation, capacity building, and sustainable development, particularly within urban and peri-urban contexts such as the Jakarta metropolitan area and other regions in Indonesia.

The scope of the journal includes, but is not limited to, the following areas

    Training, mentoring, institutional strengthening, participatory approaches, and sustainable community-based programmes.

    Educational innovation, digital literacy, financial literacy, inclusive education, curriculum assistance, and teacher capacity development.

  3. Economic Empowerment and MSME Development
    Entrepreneurship training, business incubation, digital marketing assistance, financial management for MSMEs, halal certification assistance, and creative economy development.

  4. Technology Transfer and Digital Transformation
    Application of appropriate technology, digitalisation of small businesses, information systems for community organisations, and innovation diffusion.

  5. Health and Social Welfare Programmes
    Public health campaigns, nutrition education, mental health awareness, social protection assistance, and community-based health interventions.

  6. Environmental Sustainability and Green Initiatives

DEDIKASI publishes articles that clearly describe the problem identification, intervention design, implementation process, outcomes, measurable impact, sustainability strategy, and lessons learned. The journal prioritises community service models that are innovative, replicable, and aligned with national development priorities and Sustainable Development Goals.

The journal aims to strengthen the role of higher education institutions in fulfilling the third pillar of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education through impactful and accountable community engagement initiatives.
