ELIGIBLE : Journal of Social Sciences is a peer-review, and open access journal published by Lembaga Layanan Pendidikan Tinggi Wilayah III DKI Jakarta. The journal publishes original research articles, theoretical papers, and review studies that contribute to the advancement of knowledge in the broad field of social sciences, particularly within the Indonesian and Southeast Asian context. The journal provides a platform for the publication for monumental research, and serving individuals in a wide range of disciplines who have an interest on social studies and by giving context for current research trends. The journal's objective is to fulfill this purpose through careful editorial review and publication of expert work, by creating legitimate dialogue in a field where a diversity of opinion exists, and by providing a professional forum for interaction of these views.

The journal welcomes interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary approaches that address contemporary social issues, policy development, institutional transformation, and community empowerment. The journal prioritises empirical research employing qualitative, quantitative, or mixed methods, as well as rigorous literature reviews and conceptual analyses. Contributions that demonstrate policy relevance, practical implications, and societal impact are strongly encouraged.
